Group 4 - Roddy's Rockets - 'Death Swing low ropes course & Gorge scrambling' (Tuesday)

Wow, what a day! For the first time, in the 5 years I've been coming to Derwent Hill, every single member of the group have done the 'death swing'. They were so brave! Some children found it really challenging, but pushed themselves to overcome their fears. 

This was followed by fun on the low-ropes, then a good lunch. In the afternoon, we all went gorge scrambling, which proved to be a big hit. We sat in waterfalls, slid down rocks and even crawled through a tunnel that runs under the road - all the while, offering a helping hand and encouraging other. It's been fantastic to see! It's only day 2, but they really are doing themselves proud!
